The Cyclospace at the Concours Lépine: see you in Hall 1, Stand V-13
This year, the Cyclospace is at the Concours Lépine International de Paris, as part of the Foire de Paris, Hall 1, Stand V-13, until 5 May.
Conceived by Nicolas Trüb, the Cyclospace is an electrically assisted pedal vehicle designed to carry several people in an original, visible and friendly structure.
A vehicle somewhere between a bike, a micro-car and a futuristic object
The Cyclospace looks like no other vehicle. It sits somewhere between the shared bike, the lightweight micro-car and the science-fiction object. Its aim: to offer a new way of getting around, gentler, more human and more spectacular.
With its unusual silhouette, large transparent surfaces and retro-futuristic spirit, the Cyclospace immediately catches the eye. But behind its playful appearance lies real thought about urban mobility and local journeys.
A more human and friendlier kind of mobility
The Cyclospace was conceived as an alternative to conventional motorised transport for short trips, outings, events, tourism or shared use.
It puts the passengers back at the centre of the journey: you pedal, you talk, you share the ride. The vehicle becomes more than a simple means of transport: it becomes an experience.
An invention in the spirit of the Concours Lépine
The Concours Lépine has always been the meeting place for inventors, astonishing prototypes and ideas that think outside the box. The Cyclospace fits fully into that spirit: a concrete, bold, immediately understandable object, yet capable of opening new paths for tomorrow's mobility.
At Stand V-13, Hall 1, visitors can discover the vehicle, look at how it was designed and discuss its possible uses.
A low-tech approach to innovation
At a time when mobility is often associated with ever more complex technology, the Cyclospace stands for another vision: a vehicle that is visible, repairable, sober, playful and accessible.
Its principle rests on a simple idea: using human energy, electric assistance and a light structure to create a shared, joyful and different way of getting around.
