Greta's dream

During her visit to France, the young eco-activist Greta Thunberg held her own against parliamentarians with a very clever, fluent, even shrewd speech. That is in the order of things: aren't children the specialists of recitation?

The designers of La Boutique du Futur don't deny that industrial society as it has developed is standing on its head, but rather than lament and moralise, we design minimalist objects day after day to make the world more sober, fairer... and incidentally more cheerful.

Our secret.

To do this we keep a simple principle in mind: ecological conversion can only be powerful and sincere if it provides citizens with concepts that are consistent with individual interest, that is, that improve everyone's health, finances and morale; the Cyclospace is a good example. For my part, I started designing objects well before reaching Greta's age... and I am only just starting to solve this formidable equation. That's what is called the benefit of age.
