Simple objects, obvious to use: that is the obsession of the inventor Nicolas Trüb, who knows very well that simple objects take the longest to bring about, because they require a complete reset of every problem to deduce the essentials. The SavOsec was no exception: this small plastic tripod designed to keep soaps clean and dry by lifting them away from the basin is the fruit of a long creative process spanning a decade!
A long inventing process!
In 2006, Stilic Force designed the SavOnet, inspired by existing objects. It is a magnetic suction-cup system that holds the soap from above by means of an embedded capsule and a magnet fixed to the wall. A revolutionary process, apparently invented by the Soviets, to save soap in times of shortage!
Wet soap: there's the enemy!
The SavOnet enjoyed steady success, notably because it is the only solution of its kind made in France. But it has a problem: beyond a certain weight, soaps no longer hold. Nicolas Trüb kept looking for a more effective solution. And ended up reversing the problem: instead of suspending the soap, why not use its weight by clamping onto it a support that would keep it at a good distance from the basin? Once defined, the optimal shape was quickly found: a tripod compatible with the many demands of household standards.
The ideal soap solution finally rewarded.
Thus, in 2016, the first SavOsec was born. 3D-printed, tested and approved in La Boutique du Futur in Montrouge, crowdfunding allowed it to be industrialised in France. Awarded a bronze medal at the Concours Lépine 2017, it continues, nice and dry, with no drips or smudges, its fabulous conquest of the market.
